Airport is fun

Who say airport is only for travellers. It's a wonderful place for kids to explore as well. Running along the wide aisle, alighting and boarding the various monorails stops, watching the take off, visiting the exhibits designed for festive seasons.

We bought Kris to Terminal 2 this morning and she absolutely had a fun and exciting day. As Christmas is round the corner, there's Christmas decoration being put up all round the terminals. When we arrived at Terminal 2, there's a pair of huge Mickey and Minnie flowered mouse and she goes gaga over them. Shouting, clapping and finally taking the courageous move to run towards them.

Next, we took the monorail to Terminal 3 where we had our breakfast. The food and beverage area are spacious and not as crowded as any other shopping mall. It's time for a stroll after breakfast. Kris walked from one end to the other. The aisle are so spacious that we just left her to walk by herself while we stood by a distance watching her. She enjoyed herself so much exploring the airport that she had both hands clenched to her back for fear of us carrying her up. Oh baby, you need to relax, we will be back.

When mummy goes oversea for work

I felt so important and mighty when Kris extended her arms, ran towards me hugging my legs tightly and shouted "ma ma"after not seeing me for a week. Totally melted me. Growing up slowly Kris.

Glued on to me for the weekend. That is when I realized that nothing can replace you in my heart even. I love you, sweetie no matter how mischievous you are.

14Feb: day of many first-s!

First of all, Happy Valentine Day everyone.

Today marks the many first-s that Kris experienced.

Had her first official haircut. What an angel she is, sitting quietly and obediently in the arm chair waiting for her hair to be cut.

Started her new term at Kindermusik where she is being "promoted" to the next level (18 - 30 months). So happy that she is able to follow simple instructions such as roll on the ball, burst the balloon. Playing is part of learning.

Had her first elephant ride at zoomoov with daddy zooming round the corners with her.

Saw our traditional lion dance for the first time. The huge lions scared her to the max. She cuddled to my husband like a koala and shivered! After the lions waltzed passed her, she told me that she is scare. Since that day, she is even scare of miniature lions display. :(

Had her first taste of prawns and lobster at Dancing Crab! Wow! That kept her sitting with us for more than an hour.

Emma the Elephant

My cousin in law, D bought for the kids some animal theme balloons and that got Kris all worked up. She enjoyed bringing "Emma" out for walks, ensuring that "Emma" sits by her side during her daily car ride.
This got her entertained for a week before "Emma" is being deflated due to the constant bullying by her cousins and Kris.
