This place is filled with wonders! We were shocked or rather surprised to find the place filled with kids and parents. I'm feeling positive about this place and I'm right.
Kris had a wonderful time feeding all the animals and refused to go home after 2 hours.
Verdict
The animal food were relatively cheap at $2.00 per 3 packs which you could choose from a variety of horse feed, birds feed, rabbits & guinea pig feed, all animal excluding horse feed and fish feed. We decided to grab horse feed, all animal excluding horse feed and rabbits & guinea pig feed.
1st stop: We stopped by the horse barn. There is only one over fed horse which is constantly being fed. Kris was afraid as the horse opened its mouth to grab a piece of carrot. She clinged on to daddy but still wants to go ahead to feed the horse.
2nd stop: The pond. The pond is cloudy with algae and debris. We couldn't locate any fishes but decides to throw some food into the pond. Once we threw the food in the pond, the fishes quickly swam to the surface to gobble up the food. Kris pulled us away as the ducks and birds caught her attention.
3nd stop: As we walked around the place, free roaming ducks and birds greeted us as we threw the animal food on the ground. The ducks and birds were soon following us to gobble up the food. Kris hid behind her daddy for protection as the birds became more aggressive.
4th stop: To the rabbit and guinea pig enclosure. The rabbits are indivdual caged and there were numerous pieces of carrots and rabbit feed laying around. Obviously, the animals are over fed here! Kris offered the rabbit a piece of carrot and waited for a long time before the rabbit nibbled on the carrot tip and she dropped the carrot immediately. She looked at me and requested for another piece of carrot.
5th stop: Off to the peacock enclosure. Do note the holes on the cage where tiny hands are able to fit in. Kris inserted her hands into the cage to greet the peacocks. We had to pull her out and told her not to do that as the animals may get aggresive and decides to nibble on her instead. She looked at us in dismay.
6th stop: Last but not least, there is a "Tuck Shop" where cold drink and some hot snacks are sold. There are also coin deposits rides available for the kids which ranged from 20 cents to 50 cents. This is so cheap. I could never find a 20 cent ride anywhere else in Singapore. Kris had her animal rides where we had our cold drinks to end the tour.
There is also a small washing area for cleaning after feeding the animals.
Carpark is free as well!
